Our God is so Great

There was once a guy, an art lover, who went for an art exhibit and bought a huge painting because it was so unique. But it was so huge that it could not fit into his house. He called some engineers and architects, who tried a lot to get the painting into the house. But it was just too big. The architect finally concluded that if he wants to keep the painting, the only way is to destroy this house and build a new house that is bigger, and built around this painting, keeping the size of the painting in mind.

Sometimes we do the same thing - trying to fit God into our own schedule, into our own life. But our God is so big as well. So big that if we have to keep him in our lives, we have to uproot our old self and build a new self, a new creation that is completely centered around him.

Psa 147:5 Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.

Deu 10:17 For Jehovah your God, he is God of gods, and Lord of lords, the great God, the mighty, and the terrible, who regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward.

Psa 36:6 Thy righteousness is like the mountains of God; Thy judgments are a great deep: O Jehovah, thou preservest man and beast.

2 Cor 5:17 Wherefore if any man is in Christ, [1] he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new.
